Ski-Doo racer Bryan Dyrdahl took top honors and walked away with the FXR Pro 600 title and Arctic Cat rider D.J. Ekre won the RydeFX Pro Open title. Dyrdahl won the first two races of the season, the Gonvick 100 and the Grafton Equipment 100 before claiming his fifth win the prestigious Red Lake I-500. I just want to thank all my sponsors who helped me out this year, Dyrdahl said. I also want to thank the USCC for giving us a place to race. Ekre tallied four wins in the RydeFX Pro Open class to take the points championship. Overall, he bested Dyrdahl for total Pro class points with 673 to Dyrdahls 648. Ekre also had four second place finishes including a runner up at the I-500. For all this he was awarded the USCC Racer Of The Year award. My team, Christian Brothers Racing, and Arctic Cat help me out a lot, Ekre said. I couldnt do this without them. Christian Brothers Racing was awarded the Team Of The Year award. They logged 22 podiums including eight wins, 10 second place finishes and four third place finishes. Dwight and Stuart Christian own the team, Ekre, Brian Dick and Carly Davis ride the Arctic Cat sleds and Chad Kyllo, Blake Kyllo and Joe Lesmeister round out the team roster as wrenches.
