Trail Sticker Required for I-500 Racers
We have just been notified by the Minnesota State DNR that a Minnesota
Snowmobile State Trail sticker will be required for all snowmobiles
participating in the 2011 Red Lake I-500 as small portions of the
event will run on state or grant-in-aid trails.
The annual trail sticker is valid from November 1 - April 30 and costs
$16 ($15 permit fee plus $1 filing fee).
For out-of-state racers who will be unable to get a sticker in time
for the event, they can email the uscc at: info@usccracing.com no
later than Tuesday, January 17, 2011 and request a sticker(s) for
the event. The USCC will then have the requested sticker available
for purchase at the racer check-in at the casino on Thursday afternoon.
We apologize for the short notice on this new requirement, but we
just received the details from the DNR this morning. Thank you for
your co-operation!
