Mach Family To Continue With USCC Operations

Minto, ND (February 22, 2011) - The passing of USCC founder and President Pat Mach left a huge hole in USCC daily operations. While the Mach family is working on a daily basis to fill that hole, they have also made the decision to continue on with the circuit for the foreseeable future. The USCC is currently working on OEM and National sponsorships for the 2012 season along with a 2012 race schedule.

The USCC would like everyone involved with the circuit - racers, teams, sponsors, fans and media - to know that the USCC will continue to operate as it has for the past 10 years and it hopes that everyone continues to support the circuit as they have in the past.

"Pat created this circuit because he loved cross-country snowmobile racing," said Harold Mach, Pat's father and current head of USCC operations. "We want everyone to know that we will be here and we plan to go racing in 2012. We are asking for everyone's continued support as we move forward with the circuit and we've already received confirmation from OEMs that they will be supporting the circuit in 2012."

The USCC asks for patience from everyone as it works to complete the 2011 season and solidify a 2012 race schedule.

"Anyone who knows Pat knows he worked tirelessly on the USCC," said Mach. "There was so much responsibility he put on himself and right now we're trying to figure out the million little things Pat never delegated out to anyone. It's a steep learning curve for everyone here and we hope everyone understands we will continue to do operate and make decisions that are in the best interests of cross-country snowmobile racing."

The 2011 USCC Awards Banquet will take place on April 16 at Chase On The Lake in Walker, Minn., and the USCC will be hosting a meeting for riders and teams to discuss the circuit's plans 2012. The USCC requests that all interested parties attend since what is discussed at the meeting will involve future workings of the circuit.

Moving forward, any news or new management contacts will be announced on the USCC Web site, www.usccracing.com. For more information on the USCC please visit www.usccracing.com.

The USCC racing circuit is entering its ninth year and is the largest cross-country snowmobile racing organization in North America. USCC has expanded with an Eastern circuit called USCC East. The USCC and USCC East hold races in six states including North Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan, New York, Maine and New Hampshire.
