SNOWMOBILE REGISTRATION
Subdivision 1.
Subd. 1a.General requirements.
A person may not operate or transport a snowmobile unless the
snowmobile has been registered under this section
Subd. 6.Exemptions.
Registration is not required under this section for:
(4) a snowmobile used exclusively in organized track racing events;

The annual trail sticker is valid from November 1 - April 30 and
costs $16 ($15 permit fee plus $1 filing fee).

VINTAGE SLEDS
Obtain a collector registration form. Snowmobiles may be issued an
exempt registration if the machine is at least 25 years old. Exempt
registration is valid from the date of issuance until ownership of
the snowmobile is transferred. Exempt registrations are not transferable.
