Pit Location

Grafton Equipment is the Arctic Cat/John Deere dealership on Hwy 17 west in Grafton.

The Grafton Pit Area is the same as last year. Just across the Park River Bridge on Hwy 81 North.

The Minto Pit area is located 6.5 miles east of Minto on Hwy 15, or 1 mile west of I-29 at exit 168.

Lodging

Select Inn Grafton, ND 701-352-0888. Mention the USCC snowmobile race for room rates.

Americinn Grafton, ND 701-352-2788. They have a limited number of rooms available for the weekend.

Grand Forks, ND (35 miles) has many national chain motels including Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Ramada, AmericInn, Comfort Inn, Select Inn, etc


Conditions Update (12/22/06)

Course conditions at both Minto and Grafton are still holding up well. The new Minto course will be a 11.5 mile lap with 2 miles of tree line, 3.5 miles of ditch, 3 miles of tight coulee and 3 miles of rather fast river running. In order to preserve the snow at each location, pre-running of the courses will not be allowed.


Grafton / Minto Update (12/19/06)

Although snow conditions have deteriorated recently, plans are still on track for the season opening weekend races in Grafton and Minto. Warm weather has taken a toll on what was a decent snow pack, but barring any additional unusually warm temps, there will be enough snow to race on.

Plans are for a course in Grafton that will be very similar to last years layout. In Minto, an entirely new course has been layed out and will be used unless additional snow fall occurs in the next week or so. Both locations will utilize 3-4 miles of river along with treelines and ditches that contain good snow cover.
